In Volkswagen Group cars, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto can be activated on the MIB2 (including MH2p) and MIB3 systems. Below, system by system: which brands use it and what can be activated on it.
MIB2
The MIB2 system is found in Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda, Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini and Porsche cars. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto can be activated on almost every MIB2 head unit; the exception is the 819C head units, typically found in Volkswagens.
MH2p
The MH2p system is found in Audi, Volkswagen and Porsche cars. It can be activated on every MH2p head unit, and it also supports wireless Apple CarPlay.
MIB3
The MIB3 system is found in Audi, Volkswagen, Skoda, Seat, Bentley and Lamborghini cars. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto can be activated on most models, and depending on the software version they also work wirelessly.
