VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat: which USB ports support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto?

On early (2015-2016) VW, Skoda and Seat/Cupra cars you sometimes find USB ports that support nothing at all, or Android Auto only; on Audis they were fitted with charge-only (CHARGE ONLY) ports. You can tell them apart by their colour and their appearance.
